Greetings

I've not been posting in a while now and I'm sorry. As many of you know,I've been a sick puppy. Whatever is happening to me is Crazy. Pain like no one would believe. So many asshole Doctors that just kind of shrug and say here's another Prescription, call me in 3 months. I'm in so much pain, let me contrast it with life's pain. Once broke my leg. (Nothing) Once broke my ankle (that hurt a might) Once had a metal tube inserted up my Penis into my Bladder. (Stung a little)..You got my plight on this.
Finally today I went to he ER. They put me on some liquid pain Medicine dripping into my I. V. I was there for about 6 hours. I got to see a specialist in record time. The guy was a prick or like I told his nurse A cantankerous old bastard. (Just like me). When I told him what I thought it was and that all the other Doctors said it couldn't be, he was particularly pissed. His comment was, they were all wrong. He then withdrew two huge containers of fluid from my knee. (I think I'm in love). I'm home now and thanks to some good meds.am resting. On a personal Note, my Son Alex the Artist and Professional Student was with me at all times. Only Alex was able to move me around. He was better than all the Professional That I've been seeing over the past Two Years. Anyway I sure you don't want to hear about my failing body but you deserved an explanation.
I miss all of you and will be back soon.

Buenos Dias Senor Tim!

Yep it's the ole chimp off the ole ranch, here! Well goddamn Bubba, at least something was done, and getting that fluid released. The other's were wrong? Is it ever hardly not a guessing game in alot of shit? Good job on Alex's part .... he's a good man, and know's to get the job done! Even though I havent been through alot of that shit brother, I know how miserable that it can be probably, and expect thing's to come my way here and there. That's just life. It is great that you can get some relief from the pain, and whatever else you can get, including some damn rest. I Understand if you dont feel like posting, but at the same time a lil chat or online adventure wont hurt much and help the time and healing when can. I'll stay in contact Guy!

I am grateful to be at least feeling somewhat better today, because I need to go do some business, because frankly, I need the damn money. I will go a couple hundred mile's southwest of Dallas in a couple hour's from now to deliver an order, then try to come back to Dallas in the wee hour's tomorrow AM .... all in all about 10 hour's driving time combined.

Take Care Guy ...........

It's sad to think that our medical establishment has gotten to the point of being nothing more than assembly line medicine. If they can't figure out what's wrong with you in three minutes or less then it's "give him some pain killers" and move on to the next patient.

Sounds like fluid on the knee is only one of the symptoms of the problem. Keep researching and you'll find the answer.

Damn Tim that all sounds painful. Hope it can mend now! My experience with doctors is that most do not like you to give them advice or ideas, You know what you are feeling and we are not all stupid. Rest up!

I hope getting that fluid out of your knee will solve things.

I had a bladder X-ray a long time ago, if that's what you meant by the tube through the penis into the bladder. Ouch! I'll never do that again.

The actual pain wasn't that much -- they used a local anesthesia -- but a small amount of pain "down there" is like a big pain anywhere else.

Good luck with everything.

Thank you all.
I sure am sleeping a lot. Real dizzy and stuff, more than usually.;) Most of the damn fluid came back.
I find opinions from Doctors are based on Horse Shit. I'm using an empty Juice bottle to pee in. I don't know why but I find that amusing. I'm going to go and catch up on all you have been posting. A smart group if there ever was one.

Short story (but true) for your entertainment Mr.Tim, I thought of when you talked of pissing in a juice bottle! :)

I was only about 30 I reckon, on probation for some drug related charge, went into my first visit to see my PO (Prob.officer) a real hard ass he seemed, the sob slammed a UA (dope test pee bottle) bottle down on his desk in front of me, and said "When you piss, I will accompany you to make sure you dont try anything Thomas!" I told him .... "That's fine boss" then he sat in his chair, I stood up and pulled out my dick, and stuck it in the top of the bottle in his office .... he raised his voice and said "We will do that in the proper area Thomas!" (he meant the bathroom), I told him "Fuck all that boss, I'll save ya the walk, I can piss in this mother fucker right here", he called a deputy in the hallway and they arrested me, on a probation violation, I came for a bond hearing a couple day's after and the judge reinstated my probation and just assigned me another officer, what was hilarious, was the deputy that came in the office grabbed my arm that was holding my dick and piss got on the floor and his desk.

Sorry you're having so much trouble with your knee and haven't found a doctor you have confidence in. There are good ones out there. Good physician assistants, too. You might actually find you do better with one of those, particularly where communication is concerned.

Fluid buildup in the knee doesn't come about because of how the planets are aligned. There's an inflammatory process going on. Are you seeing an orthopedic doctor? A rheumatologist? An internist? Are you on something to deal with the inflammatory process, as opposed to just a painkiller?

Has your doctor taken a few minutes to explain his thinking about what's going on? If not, insist that he do that. You're not just paying to have fluid drawn off and pills prescribed. If you've asked for an explanation and he blows you off, you really are being ripped off. In that case, look elsewhere.

I think the problem is the Doctors.
I've been to see tons of them. Some are saying it's degenerative disc in my back. So there treating that. I did have nerve damage going into my legs. I brought up up Gout because of the intense pain. 5 out of 6 said no.It was my back. Some I've seen said that I have too much going on and should continue looking for another Doctor. I have Doctor appointments the rest of the week. They are such assholes here in hicksville that at the hospital they wern't sure what to do with me.
Anyway it was nice of you to drop by and thanks.

Tim, a good GP would make sure you get to an orthopedic surgeon for a workup. And the orthopedic surgeon might very well refer you to a neurologist as well. I hope that's what these appointments are.

Good luck. I'm keeping a good thought for you.

All the best to you Tim - I've been very sick myself (which makes me a very crabby blogger). Finally went to the doctor after one of my legs blew up like a balloon. Gave him the laundry list of ailments and was immediately directed to the ultra-sound machine to look for blood clots, blood work for Lyme disease, x-ray for congestion around the heart and found out I have pre-cancerous Barrett's Syndrome of the esophagus from a procedure I had a few weeks ago. I probably forgot something... I had to write it all down in case anyone asked me about it. Geeze... no wonder I'm cranky. Getting old is not for sissies, eh brother? Good luck and I will be thinking about you - hoping for a speedy recovery.

Here it is Sunday and I Just opened the computer. Shit man sounds like your going through shit too. Like a hero of mine once said,"If I knew I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself".
They tell me the Medicine I need would probably kill me. I have liver, heart. and kidney problems and the stuff I need so I can walk screws with all that stuff. So now I'm trying to refocus on what my wife needs if I weren't around. Were looking to move to where she could get around without me. She don't drive.
Thanks for taking time to comment, write me anytime as well to my email.
