I'm no Angel, never have been and never will be. This is a story from my youth. Let it be said no farm animals were in any way hurt during the telling of this story.
Our story starts out in a time long ago when I was just a boy. We were a rag tag bunch of kids who didn't have much of anything. What we did have is sports. I'll skip lots and begin with a new kid that moved in the neighborhood by the name of Roger. Hey great another guy to expand our team. Roger was a bit different, confrontational, temper tantrums, and a failed attempt to be a bully. He challenged us one at a time and was beaten up for his efforts. Now as I mentioned we loved to play sports but it was rare that we had any equipment to play with. Rogers family had some money and he was quick to point that out to us. He always had a new baseball glove, bat, hat, spike shoes, and uniform of his favorite team. At this moment in time knowing each one of us could beat his ass, Roger resorted to tantrums when challenged in a sports call. Yes he was that guy who took his ball home, be it baseball, football of basketball so that the game would stop.
Roger was the kind of kid when we used to camp out would have his MOTHER come and tuck him in. On was of these evenings when his mother left and we were all just disgusted with him a new game began. This game was called Kick the Roger. Sounds harsh I know. It wasn't that bad though. How it was played we would taunt Roger until his temper got the best of him and he would run after us. We would do a leg sweep as he was running and bongo, bingo sometimes two or three flips ensued. Needless to say we rather enjoyed this and it was good exercise too. Trick was to see how many times we could get him to flip.Ha! We would play this game until poor Roger would pack up all his camping equipment and go home. In contrast we had blankets. Kick the Roger was such a popular game that others wanted in on the fun. Strangers would show up. Hell we got to the point we had to turn kids away. It is true Roger got sick of this after a while and wouldn't chase us. We didn't care and really didn't want to play with him anyway. Well after a couple of weeks Roger came by one day and asked Hey you guys want to play kick the Roger. We Did! Years went by until we all grew tired of this game. Some more time went by and we were now in our teens. Roger had moved away but was still able to make the papers. I guess he had another tantrum and shot up some bar. Now I tell you all this because I relate Roger with the Republican party. They lost and are taking the ball home. It's about time we all played Kick the Roger on the repukes.

Makes me wonder what they'd do if they came back. Or maybe they'll just go away and never come back but I think not. The Rogers always come back.
Demeur
Yeah they always come back in different forms but with the same heart.
