Money,Money ,Money

I've been trying to find out how much money we spend on Energy in the USA. I haven't been successful. For the sake of argument let's say it's a trillion dollars. Now we have some who say drill baby drill as our way of dealing with buying oil overseas. Lot's of problems with that,one being for National Security our Oil should be saved for the Military. Who ever heard of missiles and tanks running on batteries. I always harp on History but remember lack of fuel is what was instrumental in Germany's defeat in WWII. Some say (like BP petroleum) that Gas is the key to survival. After all we have enough for 100 years by Gawd. That's like almost forever! Oh by the way BP is British Petroleum. I think what needs to be done is yet another Gov. take over. Let the Gov. run all energy in this country, electric, gas, oil,wind,solar, nuclear and what ever else they come up with. Have that money go directly to running the country and paying down the debt. You say No No not the Gov. I say enough with us paying for all the taxes. We need a little help. Oh yeah let's send Iraq the bill for the war. We did it to Germany.
Kuwait paid for the first Gulf War. It would also stop the bullshit debate on Health Reform cause we would have the stinking money. Perhaps Taxes could after time be cut.Now wouldn't that be nice. I see no other way of securing our future.

This helped a lot cause since their certainly was not enough Law enforcement to cover the whole country side, this was a good idea to "civilize" the masses. Who new it would catch on so pervasively. Now I don't care what anybody believes in. If I were to pick a pretty good Religion I think American Indian would be as good as anything. They have respect for Nature as they think all things have a spirit. Cool Beans! Nice thought! Like I was saying, I don't care, until religion and it's lemming's once again over step their God given right. In at least six states you can't be elected to office if you don't believe in God. Not just any old God you no but the Christian God. These same wackos fervently believe in the Constitution. the thing they never actually read cause if they did they would no that their is a separation of God and country for a reason. For years now I've heard the nut bags like Rush, Hannity, Savage or as I like to refer to him the wiener, been saying there's no such thing as global warming. Just a scheme to make money as Sarah Palen says of Al Gore. Imagine Sarah the whore complaining of someone making money. The thing all of these head up their ass people have in common is a good look at their colon and it stinks. They say don't worry it's cyclical. The earth takes care of itself and that there's been warm here and there but it's always corrected itself. They say the man made effects of green house gases is just a myth. Don't worry bout it. What they fail to understand is of course the Earth has had many climatic changes over millions of years. Yes Volcano's, Meteorites,Unimaginable Forrest fire's due to lighting strikes or asteroids. All kinds of NATURAL disasters. Dust Plumes blocking out the Sun's rays for centuries. Of course the Earth bounced back because their was a start and stop of these occurrence's. The thing about Man's pollution is there is no stop. It is what is called chronic like in many Cancers. That means over a period of time it's effects are felt. Where do they think the Polar Ice Caps are going? I mean do a childhood experiment. Get a glass of water and then fill it with Ice, as the ice melts it will over flow. I don't get it, so what we take care of the Earth as best we can and we wind up leaving it a better place. When will if ever these people wise up.

Republican Plan

You know, I've heard of the Pukes so called plan to fix health reform. Their plan is to open up market place for purchase of Insurance. They want to be able to buy across state lines. There is a reason why we don't do that now. There's no way to really be able to check up on company's say from Texas or other states if you live in New York for example. The increase of paper work would be in of itself a vast cost. Let me give you an example of an unheard of small insurance company. My Son who is in college needed medical insurance in order to attend. We did not have any so he was made to purchase insurance from the schools company. As it turns out he had to have Emergency surgery on his tonsils. His throat was just about closed off completely. We had to jump through hoops in order for the Hospital and Doctors to accept this unheard of insurance. So he has to operation. We think things are fine. Fine until the bills started to come in. Six months later after repeated calls and mail exchange they paid for much of it. But they refuse to pay for the Anesthesiologist. I guess they wanted him awake for the procedure. Wonder if they would like their loved ones to have to go through this. The real and only answer to reform is single payer. Why don't people give a damn about others!

Afghanistan

So thirty thousand troops more. I'm so depressed! We don't nation build huh. They have their head up their ass so far the can see Russia from the whites house. Ya think we would have learned, listen carefully now, you can't fight a conventional war against a people that use guerrilla tactics. That's right tactics they learned works from history, like during the revolutionary war. Don't tell anyone, like Vietnam where we got our butts kicked. Another war that was fought over lies. Our we forever going to be at war?
People will argue that's where the Taliban were who planned out 911. Bullshit! If you really want to go after the lands that the terrorist were from, invade Saudi Arabia. How about Germany. Do you mean to say any country that has bad people that dream up attacks on us we have to invade. In order to fight these people you have to fight them in an unconventional way. Use their methods, infiltrate not with army's but strategic attacks.
What if after Katrina hit,Poland decided we were to depraved of a country to deal with the aftermath and sent in troops to take over and rebuild New Orleans. The Audacity you would say, will fight them to the last breath. But it's OK for us to invade with impunity any other peoples in the name of right, just or God.
An what are we going to win in this war in Afghanistan, are we going to be there for 100 years and bring them out of the stone age? Are we going to replace their Poppy's with wheat? How many more of our brave soldiers must we sacrifice to prove were tough guys.

It is the season. I'm a little melancholy for past years. The last few years I've spent Thanksgiving at a bar while doing laundry. This particular bar puts on a great spread and it's for anyone who has no place to go. I would go and not eat but just drink and was happy others partook of the feast. That brings me to a story with no particular rhyme or purpose. The three legged turkey. Now this happened long ago in my youth, the year perhaps 1960. Surely a different time in many ways. Back then where I grew up there was a grocery store on the corner of every block. That's where my mother bought our turkey of that year. As you might guessed I was pretty young so it's from faded memory that I recall the events of that thanksgiving. While I was out playing my mother was preparing the Turkey she had purchased the previous day from the butcher. Now you have to understand my mother was not the sharpest knife in the kitchen. As she was washing the bird she oddly noticed that she seemed to be washing the legs an awful lot. She kept spinning the fowl in a perpetual state of confusion. It took probably five minutes before the light came on "Hey sumpten's not right". She figured it out, an extra leg. The following is a very short version of events that followed. She told my sister, my sister told my older brother who then called his soon to be wife. The kids decided to call it in to a radio station. My mother was to shy to talk on air. They got my brother's future wife to ask her mother to pretend that she was our mother for the interview that was to ensue. With a heavy Italian accent she gave a in depth report to the local DJ as to the miraculous bird. Due to her heavy accent I'm not sure how many people understood the going's on. Within about an hour from air time we received a call from the AP. Twenty minutes elapsed when the three local TV stations all converged on our house. Six hours later with a turkey that never had a chance and a house full of hungry kids we tried to feast. There were cameras and lights every where and a house of strangers watching. Being the youngest one there the third leg once emancipated from said carcass was mine. My picture was taken with the distinguished bird for all the nation to see. It was cold and really not worth the wait. But you know what the memories were. Happy Thanksgiving!

Ha! I used to hate that phrase via mail back in the 60s. "You no draft board". Now we have a volunteer force and that's wonderful. What more do we expect from our Troops, some have had 3,4 and more tours of duty. Now I hear Obama is going to send in 30,000 plus more to fight in Afghanistan. While I don't agree with that and wish all our people in service were home, I have to say "What the Fuck". What the hell more do you expect from them. Ok since we are a War loving Country and just love to send Volunteers to do things we would never consider doing for ourselves. Why don't we enact the draft once more and this time no deferments (Dick Cheny) And Tancredo the slime. No this time all go, not just poor and Blacks. All! See how long that would last. Maybe that would kick some sense into our collective heads. For as long as I can remember it's always been old men send young men to fight. Perhaps old Men should just shut up and go away. And the Right, God bless them with their chest out and swagger saying you got to do what the Generals say we should. Not! Read some fucking History you pathetic excuse for humans. Go back to reading Palin's book of Nod where you belong. What I'm trying to say is your breaking our Military. You want war, Pay for it with a war tax and a draft so you have to do some of the heavy lift.

Yeah I said it! They should kill the health reform bill now. I'm not one of those who have health insurance and don't want others to have it too. In fact my wife and I have no insurance and couldn't buy it even we had money to. Pre- existing conditions! The Dems have watered down this bill to where now it's doing the same thing it did to wall street. It's going to make insurance company's even richer, just like AIG and the rest off the bastards. The only thing of some value in it is the public option which is just a shell of what it started out to be. This deal with the devil will just put the last nail in our collective coffin.
What a shame, how embarrassing . We have the balls and try to tell other country's how to manage and grow their land. What a laugh! Tell you what when we finally fix New Orleans then we'll talk about other countries. By God we are a war mongering people and seem to be for all our past success, not quit civilized. Term limits, public finance for politics. Oh yeah through all the two face hacks out, both party's. Until we stop politicians from being bought this country is doomed.
