Can't dance

To all, sorry I'm not my usual happy self. Not only can I not dance but I can't walk. Quite a pair are me and Mel. She's injured and walks with extreme pain and still takes care of me. I on the other hand can't do shit. I can't even play my guitar only five feet away. I know Boo fucking me. All I'm saying is health care is not in our grasp. My Doctor said hopefully I'll make it until my Medicare kicks in Feb. Also mentioned a heart murmur. Perhaps that explains the angina. You should see us hobbeling through our 2ft by 2ft apt. Tomorrow I'll consider the gun I've been putting off. Not supposed to be able to get one after trying suicide. They are funny like that. On a lighter note so what who cares!!

So a quick note....Health care/health reform/insurance reform..whatever the fuck you want to call it...it's all shit. Nothing will be done and nobody seems to care. Obama listened to Rahm from almost the beginning and tossed out single payer. Now our hopes are on "the public option".
What I seem to be hearing, we have to spend a trillion dollars to get 12 million without insurance, insured. I thought it was 47 million.(silly me) Also what I hear is "we don't want change". So fuckem. Give each of the 12 million,1 million dollars each, to buy insurance or whatever. Hmmm wonder how many righties would then want to sign up. Let's see 12 million or a trillion.
As always it's a case of two...the have and the have not.
Damn I hope I'm wrong. If there were a death panel I would want to be on it and have Sarah,Rush, Glen,Newt,Shawn,Savage and host of others come before me..Naw I'll save that for God.

Ana Marie

At last

So I have my Ana Marie back again in my waiting hands. The time apart was almost unbearable. It's perfect! I couldn't ask for any better. I so much don't play it but caress it. Ana is a living thing and is subjected to different season's. For you guitar players out there... you get it. For the others it's like tasting a fine wine or the perfect woman, other than your wife.
Don't worry about Mel, she gets it and wanted Ana to be well too. So tonight I sleep well and look forward till tomorrow when I play my sweet Ana Marie once again.

Nervous

I'm on pins and needles waiting for test to come back on my sweet Ana Marie. I've been noticing as of late she's just not right. She doesn't play well and emitting awful sounds. Quite frankly she doesn't feel right in my hands. Sometimes I try and make her wail and cry just to see if we can get those old feelings back. Ana is getting a little old but I just know she still has it in her.
I dropped her off to the specialist that we had to drive fifty miles to get to. He was very gentle with her, laying her prone. He then looked down her back as if sighting a rifle. It was then he said that she was very sick but he could save her. Her neck was twisted and bulging. He would have to work on her over night with perhaps some surgery involved. So I left my Anna Marie in his very capable hands. You see it was he who made my sweet Anna Marie.
He who crafted her years ago from swamp ash, grover tuners, seymore duncan pickups and that beautiful neck. A rosewood neck that played every emotion one could ask for. I miss my guitar and wait for the phone call that all is well and once again I'll hold my sweet Ana Marie....... Sniff...

Sticks and Stones

We all remember that old saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me". I used to think that true while growing up. Truth be told nothing could be further from the truth. Teasing,name calling,demeaning others have long lasting effects on a person. Sometimes permanent damage in some cases.
Words to me are a living thing, their meaning and what they convey can shape lives bring down governments or enhance them. Words can haunt you for your entire life. The hurt we may have experienced as children form our character and moral workings.
Since words are so powerful let us examine the current cluster fuck of name calling and accusations we are involved. While we are talking of grownups, people that should be discerning, we must also realize that their is a large portion of society that are very fragile. They by words could be inspired to strike in what they believe to be a just cause. Sometimes resorting to violence in a "the end justifies the means" judgement.
They the fear mongers and lie spreaders must be accountable for their words.
Their has been a lot of talk about Nazis. Germany after WWI was in a fragile state. The country was dire condition. We the victors from that war did nothing in fulfilling our promises of help rebuilding. A voice, a voice using words to instill fear and hate rose up and thus gave the people a common enemy and goal. Of course that would be Hitler. I'm not saying, I'm just saying, be careful you hate spewing lieing so called voice of the far right.
You just might get the country you wish for.............

The Kings of Hate

Three come to mind, Rush,Hannity and Mark Levin. While there are many more in the pot of hate these three seem to boil to the top. A statesman dies and they become giddy at the prospects of attack. Where did all this hate come from? Is it because of the ratings or do they really believe the Democrats are truly minions of Satin. What about the people that listen to them and them alone. Brainwashed or are they too evil? I was going to write something funny about these men but then thought it's not so funny. Evil spreads as witnessed by me. I've seen true hate, I've experienced true hate and from that I tell you these people are dangerous.
I think it was Reagan who did away with the fairness doctrine in broadcasting. Now people think these lies are truth since it's the only thing their listening to day in and day out. It does effect you. Just today I was getting my haircut when a few guys waiting their turn were discussing that they would blow up Pennsylvania Ave. if they had a chance. I've got a big mouth as you already know so I had to pipe up...What's your name fellow? Quiet ensued till one said to the other "I guess we better be careful talking in front of strangers". Why do I think they have been listening to hate talk, cause they were quoting from the shows. You see because they can't think for themselves and let the kings of hate do it for them.
I know there are other fear mongering and lying people out there but these 3 seem to be the one's most copied.

Heart broken and real sad

So we went to the town hall. Paul Tonko our rep for the 21st dis. in upstate NY.
I was totally disgusted by the first things I saw; guys and gals in Groucho masks WTF? is this. Marxist against socialism????????????? Yea , it was a what moment.
There was a lady who had three little ones with a poster "My decisions" just one of them needs to get ill and her insurance, will drop her like a hot rock.
Then my dear husband who worked today and has been sick and hurt for oh let me think, 3 mother fucken years damn near strokes by what he is hearing. It was time to go when we heard a lady talk about that she was called a commie because her family member was sick.
And so.... We left feeling very sad. Sad for our country, sad for people, sad for humans.
